Dieser Deal w\u00fcrde der Telekom noch mehr Konkurrenz machen. Vodafone m\u00f6chte f\u00fcr insgesamt ca. 18,4 Milliarden Euro Unitymedia auch in Ungarn, Tschechien und Rum\u00e4nien \u00fcbernehmen. Damit k\u00f6nnte Telefonica 23,7 Millionen Haushalten seinen Dienst anbieten und somit f\u00fcr Telekom ein starker, bundesweiter Wettbewerber werden. Telefonica w\u00fcrde somit eine Downloadgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 300 Megabit pro Sekunde bekommen. Vodafone r\u00fcstet sein Kabelnetz bereits auf Gigabit-Geschwindigkeiten auf, aber Telefonica w\u00fcrde nur die Anschl\u00fcsse bis max 300 Megabit bekommen. Auch bei Fernsehsender w\u00fcrde es Probleme geben.
